Raghavdas Laadoo (Semolina and coconut  laddoos)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Fine semolina (Barik  Rawa)
  • 1/4cup Ghee
  • 1/4 cupSugar or to taste
  • 1 cup Coconut scraped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  •  4 tablespoon Raisins

Method:

  1. In pan heat sugar and half cups of water and make syrup of one string consistency.
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom broad pan and roast rawa on low heat till light brown keep aside.
  3. Heat the same pan again and roast the scraped coconut on low heat till reddish brown Keep aside. 
  4. Add green cardamom powder to the roasted rawa and mix well.
  5. Add roasted coconut and mix again.
  6. Add syrup, raisins to the rawa mixture and mix. Cover and set aside to cool.
  7. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Shape each portion into a laadoo and serve.
