What I'm wearing: Sabine Studded Pullover Sweater, Gap 'Always Skinny' jeans, cape see here, booties see here Come late February, retailers love to play mind games with all of us Chicagoans, showcasing delightful florals and pastels in lovely, light fabrics for spring. Dangling this pretty fashion carrot over our heads, knowing well that we will not be able to wear anything but our winter gear for a good few months. It's just plain cruel. Therefore, to infuse a little spring in my step, I've incorporated color authority Pantone's color of the year, Radiant Orchid, into my wardrobe. This shade of purpley- pink is breath of fresh air, amongst the sea of black and gray that most of us have been wearing in this drabbest time of year. Not to mention it pairs perfectly with neutrals like white and tan, which makes it fresh, yet still very winter appropriate. But I just have to ask, how many days until spring?
