Quote of the Day

Posted on the 01 September 2014 by Mikeb302000
I may have run this one before, but it's pretty right on for the US's cult of ignorance:
“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
― Isaac Asimov

And before your make stupid comments about ME being the ignorant one:  remember that one is not really allowed to give legal advice unless one is a member of the bar.  In fact, it is against the law to put oneself out as a lawyer or engage in the unqualified practice of law.
On the other hand, I have on more than one occasion shown that you have taken things out of context from legal decisions.
But, you know more about the law than I do.
