I love makeup but most mornings are a rush to get out the door. I rely on quick and easy makeup that will last all day but I also want affordable products because I love experimenting. I won’t be using all of these products in this quick and easy tutorial but I had to share my haul! This entire look will be using drugstore products! #beautyinspiration #CollectiveBias.
Enough chit-chat, let’s get started! Start with a clean and dry face. Here is a foundation tip start by priming your face. You can use the RIMMEL Stay Matte Primer or even just a moisturizer to make sure the makeup has something to stick to and last longer throughout the day.
Squeeze a small amount of the Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation onto the back of your hand or dot onto your face. Using your favorite foundation brush or beauty blender, blend out the foundation all over your face and neck.
Next I used the Glam’Eyes Trio Eye Shadow in Summer Chic with just 3 easy steps. Take a shadow brush and apply the beautiful copper pigment all over the eyelid. Then apply the champagne shade from the crease to the brow bone for a highlight. I like to dab a little in the inner corner of my eye as well to brighten things up. Taking the dark brown shade on a fluffy blending brush and apply in the crease from outer corner to inner corner in windshield wiper motion until blended well and no harsh lines are visible.
My favorite part is next, mascara! Take the Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara and apply in an even coat all over the top lashes, making sure to get all the way down to the base for the fullest looking lashes. You can definitely apply mascara to the bottom lashes too but I rarely do because I find mine smudges and looks like dark under-eye circles by the end of the day.
Apply your favorite blush and gloss and you are out the door in about 5 minutes! I applied a peach blush & a light pink lipstick. Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy drugstore makeup tutorial. I had a blast creating it and have a new found passion for all things make-up, even if my usual application is a 5 minute face. Experimenting is fun, especially when you can find affordable products that won’t break the bank.
