For anyone who has blonde hair, whether it be natural, highlighted or color treated you shall know the importance of keeping your color bright, shiny and healthy, which to be fair (excuse the pun) is hard to do if you don't use the right products to keep your blonde hair looking its best.

When you wash your hair with purple shampoo, your hair absorbs a small amount of the purple pigment. Since they are opposites, the purple neutralizes the brassy yellow, restoring your hair to its former beautiful colour. Purple shampoo is the cure for all of your brassy hair troubles.
Purple shampoo is designed to be used alongside your regular shampoo and not daily, use 1-2 times a week to see the real benefits and best not leave it in your hair for more than 5 minutes, as too much of the pigment may be absorbed, leaving the hair with a purple or gray tinge. This is fine if you like that purple tinge look but each person shall be different so just experiment.

So I have tried many purple shampoos but WOW, this stuff works like none other I have ever tried.Simply Ah-Mazing!!! I have stayed very loyal to my Aveda purple shampoo for many many years now as it is very gentle on the hair and scalp and very effective but the L'oreal Professional is probably three times more concentrated as the results speak for themselves. After each use, my hair actually looks just the same as when my hairdresser has finished toning my hair, even months after a salon visit. This shampoo is highly concentrated so use only a small amount, the size of a €1/£1 coin should suffice. Do not leave on the hair for any more than 5 mins maximum as it may have the tendency to turn your hair purple as well as your hands so wash them immediately after use! I rinsed this out of my hair almost straight away.After using any purple shampoo be sure to use a good hydrating conditioner afterwards as this process can be very drying, robbing your hair of its moisture that your hair needs for bounce and shine. So, as like normal shampoo, purple shampoos are not a one-type-fits-all product. You must find the product that best suits your personal needs and hair type but I highly recommend you give this one a go if you are a fan of keeping your blonde hair just so, as we do have the most fun ;-)
