PTI’s National Assembly Seats Reduced to 31

The seats of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for National Assembly, which were 35 according to earlier unofficial results, have been phenomenally reduced to 31 after which it has been slumped to third position behind Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

According to latest unofficial results, PML-N is leading with 124 National Assembly seats and PPP is on second position with 33 National Assembly seats.

Several PTI candidates who were categorically dominating from many constituencies of Punjab mysteriously suffered massive defeats in due course.

The “transparency” of elections in Punjab can be determined from NA-125 constituency of Lahore, where PTI’s Hamid Khan had once gained a whopping lead of 20,000 over PML-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique but at the end of the day, the latter managed to beat him by a massive margin of 26,000 votes.

Similarly, PTI’s Jehangir Khan Tareen, who was emerged as victorious from NA-154 Lodhran according to the initial unofficial results, was finished as runners-up after “overnight” counting.
