No, I didn't pick Steve Craft's promo because of his fantastic name or that he's from Arizona (Go Wildcats!). The studio portrait is so incredibly stunning (my photo makes it way more contrasty than it is in real life). Honestly, if the subject was wearing a red shirt, it wouldn't have worked as well [for me]. The color of the backdrop, t-shirt, his 'stache, eyes, and subtle, yet crisp lighting are such a perfect medley of autumnal goodness. Even the banner at the bottom compliments with the taupe and maroon. I just can't stop staring at it.

Then, you get to flip it over for something wild. I chose this card because of the beautiful studio portrait and then the crazy other environmental portrait on the back. I don't know if it's his friend who would do anything for him to pose like this, but I'd like to think it is an editorial commission and Steve persuaded him to grab his gun and beer. Oh, and his Bichon Frise.
