A quick look at these charts will show you why the Republicans only want to talk about President Obama's slightly upside-down job approval. They are too embarrassed to talk about the job approval of Congress -- which they control. While Americans are split on whether the president is doing a good job, an overwhelming majority agree that Congress is doing a terrible job.
The presidential numbers are from RealClearPolitics. The congressional numbers are from RealClearPolitics and a new Rasmussen Poll. All of the polls were done in May and June of this year.
