Unfortunately this did mean I had to miss my day in London with Kat (Tales Of A Pale Face) and Grace (All That Slap) which I was completely gutted about but I still wasn't feeling great and was still getting pains if I walked about too much.
A lot of people told me they have had this mid pregnancy, especially with your first as its everything stretching and growing but I never thought it would be that painful. If you did have a similar thing do let me know, peoples stories put my mind at ease.
Then Friday evening I came down with a sickness bug and haven't moved from the bed or sofa very much since, still not 100% today but managing to keep a bit of food in me and liquids down. Just lack of energy now which isn't fun.
The huge positive in this week of feeling ill is that I had my 20 week scan Friday lunchtime and found out I am having a little girl!! I am so over the moon and emotional about it, I well up just thinking about meeting her. It really has made things very very real now.
The scan showed shes all fit, healthy and growing how she should be which is fantastic. She was also very nosey but when it came to trying to take the scan pic she wasn't having none of it. Camera shy like her daddy then, because we all know her mommy loves a selfie, haha!
My mom came to the scan as well as my partner and was more emotional than me I think, she insisted we take a trip to Mothercare and buy some pink bits as up until now I hadn't bought any clothes. It was hard not to buy everything.
