Pregnancy Beauty Favorites

Pregnancy hormones have caused some pretty unpleasant side effects on both my skin and hair. My hair is kind of a mess right now, and I’m still experimenting with the right products to bring it back to life. But on a good note, I have found a good mix of beauty products that have been working wonders on my dry and sensitive preggo skin. First up is this oil I’ve been slathering on my belly religiously in the morning and at night since the first trimester. It claims to reduce the appearance of scars, even out skin tone and prevent stretch marks. I’m pretty sure not getting stretch marks during pregnancy is due to just plain old good luck, but so far so good! I haven’t noticed any stretch marks yet, and the oil works wonders for keeping my skin hydrated and not uncomfortable as I continue to grow.

Within the past few months, I’ve also become a huge fan of the Origins brand. Not only are the products pretty affordable, but they definitely work wonders. I’ve been using this eye cream both in the morning and at night, and this mask about once a week or so. The cream is super moisturizing and helps give my eye area a lift on tired mornings, and the mask is a miracle worker. The pretty pale pink packaging doesn’t hurt either. Last up is this peel by Goldfaden MD. It’s one of the newer products in my skin care line up, but has quickly become a fast favorite. I’ve been using at night on occasion the past few weeks when my skin looks like it could use a boost, and have definitely noticed a difference in the texture and evenness of my skin after use. Now if only I could find a products to work a miracle on my hair, I’d be all set!
