Prayers needed… Senator John McCain family announced on Friday that the Arizona senator has decided to stop treatment for brain cancer.
The beloved lawmaker publicly announced his diagnosis with an aggressive form of glioblastoma last summer and has been fighting the disease ever since. The family’s statement said McCain has “surpassed expectations for his survival.”
“But the progress of the disease and the inexorable advance of age render their verdict,” the statement continued. “With his usual strength of will, he has now chosen to discontinue medical treatment.”
