Hugh Jenkins and Gavin Ewart at Kenilworth Court, Putney.
Hugh Jenkins, Labour MP for Putney from 1964 - 1979, was Arts Minister in Harold Wilson's government from 1974-76 and was chair of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND).The poet Gavin Ewart once had his work banned from W.H Smith due to its erotic content. He won the Cholmondeley Award, the annual prize for poetry from the Society of Authors in 1974.
