Plaque of the Week No.123 – George Orwell: The SequelReturn of the Plaque of the Week!
Our Plaque of the Week series ends its 12 week run…
You've seen them all over the city: discs, tablets, cameos and plaques commemorating the great and the good of London Town. Wednesday is our new day for tracking down London plaques (Blue or otherwise) and putting them center stage on The Daily Constitutional. This week…

The last in our present series of London plaques comes courtesy of London Walker Steve McNally and is a follow-up to our earlier post on plaques for George Orwell (you can catch up with that post HERE)…
Plaque of the Week No.123 – George Orwell: The Sequel
Dear London Walks,
I saw on the blog about Blue Plaques that George Orwell's plaque is in Kentish Town. The blog asked if anyone has seen any others. I saw a Blue Plaque for Orwell on Portobello Road between Chepstow Villas and Pembridge Road. (photo attached)
We just started exploring your blog as we are arriving in London for 2 weeks in June with our daughter who has never been there before. We are sure to take in a few walks. We have already been on some of your walks and enjoyed them thoroughly.

Thanks Steve! Plaque of the Week will return later in the year
