My niece is 9!!! AHHHH she is almost out of single digits, where has time gone?! I remember when she was just a baby *tears*. She was spoiled rotten (still is), I loved to babysit (still do), and just be around her (STILL DO)J. Watching her this weekend celebrates with her best friend and all of us, I was in disbelief, I can not believe my niece is growing up, too fast *more tears*. She is coming into her own, she has her own style that is so cute; She has so much personality and energy, I just love it!
My sister and I always began planning months in advance when it comes to our kids birthday’s and what we would like for them. Well this year, my sister shared her plans with my niece (a pink themed party) and my niece says, “ummm how about blue?” Well since I didn’t know where to go with this blue theme, I asked my niece what kind of cake she would like and she says I want a PINK cake?! So ok….the party planning is all out of whack and I’m very confused. But I gave her what she wanted.
My niece asked that I make her a pink cake, and the inside to be Neapolitan; Pink cupcakes with Oreo cookies on top. The strawberry cookies were my addition. So I guess she decided to go with pink after all, Mother knows best!J
