Using the wheelbase of 2005 GMC Silverado, the ice-sculpting company “Iceculture” in Hensall, Ontario has crafted this amazing piece of art using nothing but ice. Well, except for the engine and rest of the working parts. According to Canoe News, this icy pickup truck weighs in about 6,800-kg and it’s fully functional. Thanks to a special fan system that was made to provide airflow and remove hot air , the truck has even managed to complete a 4km drive earlier this month, without melting down.

Iceculture made this “Ice Truck” for the Canadian Tire commercial, which will air during an upcoming hockey game show. Just like every other ice sculpture, this beautiful Ice Truck also melted down in the end. You can watch the reverse melt video shot over a period of 44 hours after the jump.
