So… Michael let me open my birthday present early and I received a shiny new Nikon (thank you!). I thought “huzzah“. We planned to go to the farmers market and take the hound in the hopes his cuteness would help with free spoils. It didn’t work, but he did get a lot of attention. I decided to take the camera along. I thought “how hard can it be taking photos?”. Good one. Yeah, it’s hard. So here’s my first attempt. Hopefully getting some form of tutorial but till then, any pointers? There’s far too many buttons and dials.

We popped by Tasty to see Rebecca, who gave him a little treat. This is his smug face.

We also bought the most heavenly almond croissant, and coconut and chocolate tart from Salts Deli, and for supper we had a delicious Patatas Bravas soup from Thistle Mist Farm

If you live near Roundhay you really should go along. It is always good to support local growers.

Talking of local growers, there will be a post on this later in the week brides. Think about where your flowers are coming from.

Photographers, leave your comments. Tell me what the hell to do!
