Pet Collection and Delivery; Taking the Stress out of Travel

By David13676 @dogspired

travelIt’s time for that well-deserved holiday, or the day may have arrived for you to shift your entire life abroad and relocate. Taking your pet with you is a no-brainer but the preparation and the travelling can be hectic and stressful. Investing in pet collection and delivery may help take the stress out of the journey.

There is a lot to organize when relocating with your family and your pets, and the process can be demanding on both parties. Some of the time, airlines do allow animals to travel in cargo and sometimes in-cabin, but there are also many flights that do not allow this, especially when importing pets into a new country.

Additionally, even if your pet is permitted to fly, most procedures require that you check in three to four hours prior to your travel. Not only does this mean rushing and panicking but also makes planning more difficult. Handling your pet, their nervous behaviour, their unpredictable food needs and coping with the worry of having them flying in cargo can be eradicated with pet collection and delivery.

Some careful planning will need to be done to find the best removal company with the most experience in handling pet relocation. You want them in safe hands. Pet collection means that you can have your adored companions picked up from any location and delivered to the airport in time for departure.

The delivery process is very much the same. Pets can be collected upon arrival and delivered to their new home in safe and well-trained arms. Find a company that can offer you both for real peace of mind.

This method is quicker and easier as all you need to do is take some time to choose the best relocation unit for your needs. You can trust that your pets will be effectively transported to your new country of residence without any hassle or apprehension. There are a few things you will have to bear in mind before your travels:

  • Choosing the carrier is still your responsibility so pick one that is new, durable and the right size for your pet.
  • Always ensure your pets are well and in good health. Make sure they are strong enough to travel and take some time to ask your veterinarians any questions you may have.
  • Inform the removal company about your pet’s dietary requirements and provide them with any medications and documents they may need.

All the same can be expected for travel by road with regular stops to allow your pet to feed, have toilet breaks and stretch their legs. In both cases, well-spaced and air conditioned animal units are likely to be provided for transportation.

Improper handling of pets whilst traveling case cause them to fall ill or be stressed. You want to ensure that the method of transportation is the best that can be offered to make you pets feel comfortable. Pet collection and delivery will give you all this as well of peace-of mind for yourself.
