P for Patient – A to Z Blogging Challenge April 2014 – Comments I’ve Received

Being ‘Patient’ was never my cup of tea. Waiting at the bus stop, waiting for the web page to load during times of slow internet, waiting for the exams to get over, waiting for the next season of my favourite show, waiting to the read the next post of my favourite blogs.., the list of times when I tend to lost my patience is endless.

But what is the use of being restless, when things happen only when it is destined to happen. My restlessness is not going to speed up things nor comfort the situation. This good thought came a bit, still better late than never!

And being patient doesn’t mean lazing around without any efforts put, waiting for something to pop up on its own. Giving our best into something and waiting for the best, still prepared to face the worst is true patience. It goes a long way to cultivate this kind of patience, which could be seen only in the eyes of seers and saints. I’m no saint to have this kind of attitude, but still it pays to go in this direction. I do get restless at times, but less often and less frequent.

A quote that should summarise the essence of being patient..

A watched pot never boils

Cheers

God Bless
