Patanjali Face Wash for Oily Skin- Saundarya Face Wash & Activated Carbon Facial Foam

Changing climate brings not only changes in your environment but also inside you. Onset of monsoon warns me with early signs of acne and pimples and i keep my self armed with all the precautionary measures. One of those are Face washes with anti bacterial/acne curing/sebum control properties.

Today its about two of my favourite face washes from Patanjali Ayurved. They are Saundarya Face wash and Patanjali Activated Charcoal Herbal Facial Foam. I have lost the count how may tubes of saundarya i have finished till now and since Activated charcoal facial foam is recent launch, i tried this for the first time.

Saundarya Face wash (INR 60 for 60 gms)

You can find patanjali products quite easily on their widespread outlets and other retail counters/online too.

Major Ingredients- Orange Peel, Neem, Basil & Aloevera

This face wash comes packed in a white opaque plastic squeezy tube with flip open cap. Pack is quite simple & sturdy to travel along.

The Saundarya face wash is a white cream with an artificial floral scent. it is thick but gives good lather with little water added. Very little quantity is required to wash face & neck (less than a coin size). it effectively cleans leaving no trace of dirt, grime or even makeup on your face. it takes a little more effort to wash off but i don't mind it with the effects i get.

People facing severe oiliness/acne would love it. Still it wont rob you off the moisture to give a stretchy feeling later.

This is perfect for oily to combination skin while normal to dry skin ones may not like it.

Patanjali Activated Charcoal facial foam(INR 60 for 60 gms)

This is a new launch from patanjali claiming to "cleanse gently , nourish and revitalize the skin tissues, to make complexion fresh, smooth & beautiful".

Key Ingredients- Aloevera, Neem, Mint & lemon Peel with activated charcoal, Vitamin E &A.

The packaging is same except that this tube is black.

Activated Charcoal facial foam is again a dark grey cream with ashy floral scent. it is also a thick cream but created good foam with water. It is also required in very less quantity and cleanse well. Leaves my skin squeaky clean with no trace of oil, dirt or grime. it is also not hydrating but will not rip off the moisture from you skin.

This is good face wash for normal to oily skin.

Overall Patanjali Saundarya Face wash and Patanjali Activated Charcoal facial foam are a MUST HAVE fro oily skin people. Its not heavy on your pocket delivering full value to your money.
