Passport and More Trust

By Blondie @heyblondieblog
As I mentioned here I am going to Honduras in June and it was a pretty big step for me. Now an even bigger leap is the fact that Dagwood and I are BOTH going to Honduras next month!!!!!!!
My sister is keeping the kiddos and I know they will have a wonderful time and be spoiled beyond belief. It is honestly still scary to think of us both leaving them for an extended period of time but I trust that God has a plan for our family and He is our protector.
It was not an easy decision to come to and Dagwood and others will tell you I fought it every step of the way but now that we have decided I feel a peace about it. I am excited to go with the group from our church but more than that I am excited to have this experience with my husband and best friend. I have a feeling it is going to change our lives in a wonderful and unimaginable way!
Now on to the fun part of this next month. Drawing up wills, cleaning/organizing my home (anyone want to help with this part?!), losing these extra few pounds, preparing my kiddos for us being gone for possibly over 2 weeks and all the other craziness that is our lives!
My nephew is going with us which is exciting. I think he is really going to enjoy it! I wish I had gone on a mission trip at his age. What a great experience to have as a young person.
Please be in prayer for my sanity and Dagwood's as he will be putting up with me in the planning stages of leaving. And that it be a smooth trip for all involved.
Oh and I guess since it is in the title of this post I should say that I got my very first passport! I'm officially able to travel out of the country. Wahoo! So exciting!!!
