Pamper.

By Maddy1704 @unstitchedd
Pamper. Is there anything more relaxing in the world than a pamper night? When you're feeling tired or stressed it's always an amazing luxury to be able to devote an evening to yourself and do a full pamper routine from head to toe. After traveling a lot in the last couple of days I thought it was about time to treat myself and crack out some of the new smellies that I've been wanting to try for ages.
Hot Shower or Bath - When you have the time, a properly indulgent shower or bath is a must. After running the water to piping hot and adding some bath bubbles or salts - my pick would be the Detox Salts from the Bathory. If I'm doing my hair I'll wash it at the same time, and an exfoliating scrub is also a must.
Moisturiser - After coming out of hot water, I think it's really important to fully rehydrate your skin again. You can't go very far in the beauty blogging world without hearing about the Righteous Butter and for good reason. With the original 'pink' scent, this is a dream to apply, making skin super soft and smelling incredible. Right now, a full size tub of this is free at boots when you spend £10 on Soap and Glory products so it's definitely worth having a look and picking up some extra bits.
Tan - With summer coming up I know a lot of people will be looking for quick and easy ways to tan up without having to harm their skin. The Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster is the perfect solution - simply add a couple of drops to your regular body moisturiser and it becomes a gradual tanner that adds a subtle glow as opposed to orange streaks. You can build it up by using everyday or weekly to maintain but it's a failsafe way of getting the holiday glow without the risk.
Face Mask - You can never go wrong with a good facemask on a pamper evening. Of course, the Lush ones are always on the menu - I love Catastrophe Cosmetic and Love Lettuce for soothing my skin woes at the moment. If I'm looking for something a little stronger though, I really like the 'The Incredible Face Mask' from May Beauty. It's one of those peel-off affairs that you can literally see remove the impurities from your skin when you peel off - for want of a more original way to describe it, incredible.
Relax - It's important to get the atmosphere right when having a relaxing evening. Magazines and books help, or treating yourself to an episode of something that you haven't got round to watching during the week. I also really like to have a candle or something with a nice smell to give a bit of ambience. Recently I've been experimenting with some new smells with the wax melts from the Melt Crowd (read more here). The summer collection is absolutely gorgeous - really fresh, floral and fruity - in particular I've been loving in particular the Mojito scent.
Finally, I collapse into bed and (hopefully) fall into a deep sleep - how do your pamper evenings go?
