Pakistan blind T20 skipper Zeeshan Abbasi made to drink acid in India

Pakistan blind cricket T20 skipper Zeeshan Abbasi was made to drink a glass of full of acid during breakfast in Bangalore, India on Saturday morning, Geo news reported.

Abbasi, who is captaining Pakistani blind cricket team in T20 World Cup for blind at Bangalore, has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

According to sources, a glass filled of acid was placed on the breakfast table which Zeeshan Abbasi, a fast bowler who comes under partially blind B2 category, drunk considering it as water.

Syed Sultan Shah, the Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, alleged that the glass was deliberately placed on the table adding the council is investigating the matter. Sultan said that the responsibility of the safety of players comes on the local administration.

On the other hand, the hotel management has launched the investigations of the incident, which occurred a day after India blind cricket team lost to Pakistan by eight wickets.
