Pak Pong Ju Visits Sunchon Cement Complex

DPRK state media reported on September 25, 2016 (Sunday) that State Affairs Commission Vice Chairman and DPRK Premier Pak Pong Ju toured the Sunchon Cement Complex and had a consultative meeting about increasing cement production. The meeting “underlined the need for the complex to play its responsible role as arsenal of the front for recovering from flood damage…by unconditionally carrying out in time the tasks for cement production set forth by the Party for the from ranks of the 200-day campaign of loyalty.” A goal was set to increase production “suited to the expansion of the drive for recovering from flood damage….and took measures to ensure the most effective use of the existing production foundation.” Previously, Pak Pong Ju went to the “railways lines for exclusive use for the campaign for recovering from flood damage and encouraged railway transport workers to immediately sent cement.”
