Outfit of the Day: 7th Birthday Party

By Lisagray @juicysatsuma
Mr Juicy’s little sister turned 7 at the weekend and she had a Fairy Wishes party to celebrate. A fully grown woman in her forties turned up at the house dressed as a fairy godmother and put tutu’s, glitter and sparkly nail polish on the birthday girl and her little friends. They all loved it of course and there was a Hello Kitty cake, pizza and plenty of presents! Oh to be 7 again!
Unfortunately Mr Juicy and I didn’t get to dress up as fairies. Instead I wore this River Island dress. It’s from the Chelsea Girl collection and I thought it was a bargain at £35. I have so many ideas for how to wear it and it’ll look just as good in summer as it does in winter. I’ve tried notting the bottom to make it look like a knee length dress which looks good. I love it with crazy curly hair and huge gold hoop earrings too. I look like a proper Romany gypsy!

Outfit of the Day: 7th Birthday PartyThese are my new boots from Zara’s basic range. £25! Amazing!!! I’ve been looking for a new pair of ankle boots for ages but nothing seemed quite right. These brown ones however, are exactly what I was looking for! I love the heel height. I love the gold zips I love that they were the last pair in the shop and I managed to nab them just in time!

I’ve invested in a little tripod for my camera so that Mr Juicy doesn’t have to take all my OOTD photos for me. He was wetting himself watching me take these out in the garden. We have a communal garden and the neighbours were coming in and out, looking at me like I’m mental. He torn me apart for this ‘looking wistfully off into the distance’ face! I haven’t quite learnt how to relax in front of the camera yet but I’m hoping the tripod will help with that. It’s a bit easier taking photos when I don’t have my boyfriend moaning at me as he disinterestedly shoots me!
