Organic Doctor Skincare Review

By Apoorva @perksofbeauty

Since some days my skin has been changed(for good) drastically and people ask me why and how. I can say now that it is because of my organic skincare routine. I love trying out new skincare products and I try to use organic and natural products the most. When the Organic Doctor skincare guys approached me to try their skin care for an honest opinion, I was excited as they are known for their natural and organic ingredients.

So, let's see how good they really are. I have mentioned the products and gave the product links, please click them to go to the company website.

Organic Skincare Doctor Tea Tree Face Wash is a gentle yet deeply penetrating facial cleanser, formulated with a proprietary blend of bioactive and naturally inspired ingredients including pure Tea Tree Oil, Mandarin Oil, Lemon Oil and Witch Hazel. This mild cleanser leaves the skin scrumptiously clean, refreshed and perfectly balanced.

My Take:
As I checked the primary ingredients listed on the product, I could say that this works best for the acne-prone skin. I do not have any active acne these days(touch wood) but I do get visited by the pimples every month. Each time, I eat a lot of sugar or whenever I don't follow my skincare routine, I get tiny zits and sometime whiteheads. I use this facewash during those days to calm my skin and keep my skin extra clean. The tea tree oil is something I swear by to treat any kind of acne. So, naturally, I liked this face wash. It doesn't make my skin dry but I can say that this suits the oily skinned beauties the most.

This light, fast absorbing, hydrating radiance elixir instantly penetrates and infuses the skin with organic extracts and tropical oils to bio-actively re-energize and revitalize. Our proprietary blend of organic extracts and oils combine to provide an instant natural glow, giving the skin a smoother, blissfully hydrated radiance.

My Take:
When I first opened the package, I was expecting some super strong coconut smell that would fill my nostrils but *surprise*. The smell was very gentle and fades away nicely. Every new product I get to try, I have the habit of testing it on my arm for a day before using it on my face. This product made my skin on the arm so so smooth instantly that it was super hard for me to wait for 8 more hours to finally use it on my face.

I did really like the texture of the product, it gets absorbed into the skin quickly and imparts a healthy glow. It didn't make my skin any oily and suited my dry/combination skin very well. Can't help but rave about it more.

Bioactive Organic Rose Otto Oil is a rich hydrating and moisturizing essential oil with renowned skin toning and healthy-aging properties. In combination with a proprietary blend of bioactive and naturally inspired ingredients, this incredibly effective skin lotion directly absorbs into the skin's epidermal surface to instantly hydrate and to give a healthy, more youthful appearance.

My Take:
This isn't a must-have for me but the quality wise it is nice. I do not like the strong rose scent and this product has the smell of fresh roses. The smell stays a bit longer than the other products mentioned here. If I can ignore the smell of the product, the packaging is nice. The product is perfect for the price we pay. A very little amount of product is all I need to moisturize my hands. As the product claimed, it does moisturize the skin very well. It is not greasy and not very thick - it has a similar texture of the body creams from Bath & Body Works.

Combining Snail Gel with Olive Leaf Extract, Levan, and Jujube Seed Extract has created a soothing non-greasy serum that penetrates deep into the epidermis, instantly hydrating the skin to help leave it feeling smoother, nourished and restored, revealing a more youthful glow.

This exceptional face cream is formulated to quickly absorb into the epidermis, restoring the natural moisture levels of the skin to help soothe and revitalize, leaving a luxurious feeling of firmness, tone, and hydration.

My Take on the Snail Gel Skincare range:

Sorry about writing the review in a single section for two different products. Though they can be used separately, I somehow ended up using them together. I have used the Snail Gel Facial Serum first, waited for it to get absorbed and then the Snail Gel Cream. This combination worked wonders for me when I incorporated them into my night time skincare routine. The serum is very light and is perfect for everyday usage whereas the cream has a thicker consistency which is good for ultimate hydration.

I believe in hydrating the skin before I treat any other issues. The combination of these two products made my skin look and feel very refreshed every morning. I started noticing that my skin has an even tone compared to the last month. I felt my skin is very hydrated and glows. It has become a perfect canvas for my makeup routine. I have stopped wearing foundation these days as I felt that my skin is good the way it is now.

Here, I have included the product swatches.

Winter is the worst enemy for the dry skin beauties but now you got your savior in the form of the Organic Doctor.
