Posted on the 05 June 2013 by Girlratesworld @girlratesworld

Black tea at a local coffee shop, $5. Black tea anti-aging cream, $95. Lashes lengthened and darkened with black tea…need I say?

Priceless.

I first mentioned these fruit pigmented mascaras about a month or 2 ago. And I’m still so intrigued with the idea of using black tea on my lashes.  Who wouldn’t be curious?

Although I haven’t tried the mascara yet, it’s on my iWant list which seems to growing at an alarming rate since I decided to slash (!murder!) my beauty budget.

But no budget is too small for good ol’, shameless window shopping.

Let’s explore the world of fruits and beauty for a bit…And not like in a “bath and body way,” but in an organic way.

what is black tea mascara?
It’s an 100% natural mascara colored from crushed black tea.

what does it do?
According to the brand, 100% pure, this mascara lengthens as good as the rest. It conditions with pro-vitamin b5, oat and wheat protein. It also strengthens lashes.

why we should consider using black tea mascara?
The mascara promises to give ultra length.  It’s water and smudge resistant and it does not flake. Best of all, the formula is 100% natural, 100% vegetarian, and 100% organic.  So you don’t have to worry about toxins entering your eyes or being to close to your sensitive eyes.

Like I mentioned, this is definitely on my iWant list and I plan to review it in the near future. The mascara also comes pigmented in blueberry, blackberry, and yummmmm chocolate.

So tell me what you think? Mascara made with the herbal stuff. Would you try it? If so, which shade? Chocolate? Blueberry? Blackberry? I’m definitely going with black tea. Be sure to let me know in the comments below.
