OPI Brazil Collection Dupes & Comparison Part 1 (bright Shades)

Hello lovelies,

here’s Part 1 of my OPI Brazil collection dupes. Even though the collection looked very dupeable, it turned out completely the opposite once I swatched them on the nails . Of course, my collection is around 400 nail polishes, so someone with more nail polishes could have more dupes.

The closest shade I have to I Just can’t Cope-acabana is Rimmel Sunny Days – the only difference is that Rimmel contains shimmer. I thought that Deborah Lippmann’s Yellow Brick Road would be a good dupe too, but Lippmann is a very sheer jelly, so it doesn’t come even close.

Crème orange is not really my favorite colour, so it is no wonder that I don’t have a dupe for Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go. Salmon & Garfunkel seemed pretty close on swatchsticks, but it is much paler on the nails. Essie’s Resort Fling is pretty close, but the formula is differend – Essie is a sheer crème.

Toucan Do It If You Try seemed to have a bunch of dupes when I went through swatchsticks, but not so much when it is on the nails. Color-wise the closest is Catrice Pimp My Shrimp, but again, Catrice is sheerer. Lippmann’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Essie Sunday Funday are much pinker.

Just like the previous shade, Live.Love.Carnaval. seemed pretty easy to dupe. However, Chanel’s Distraction and Catrice’s Meet Me At Coral Island are not as vibrant and more sheer. Max Factor Diva Coral is I’d say 99% dupe – it is just a tad bit redder.

I don’t have a good dupe for Kiss Me I’m Brazilian – Elephantastic Pink is darker, Essie Knockout Pout is lighter and chalkier. Chanel May is the closest – slightly darker than Kiss Me I’m Brazilian.

Surprisingly, I have a 99% dupe of Red Hot Rio. It is Catrice’s Bloody Mary to Go, which is just a tad lighter than Red Hot Rio. Essie and Makeup Factory are also pretty close colour-wise, but both shades contain shimmer.
