One for All - Onepieces, Two Ways

I caught up with my darling Liz T from Dear Andi in the Flatiron district for some loitering outside the Nomad Hotel and drinks at the Ace Hotel. We both showed up wearing one-pieces - the ultimate blogger/stylist must-have - in two very different ways. I donned this printed silk jumpsuit from Theory with a Trouve blazer for my day at the Shopping Cart Technologies office - followed by a film session with the crew from Models Web TV. Liz pointed out that wearing black on film doesn't translate well, so I opted for a larger print that would take me from the office to the film set.

One for All - Onepieces, Two WaysAs a general rule, because the main focal point of the look is the print of the jumpsuit, I didn't want the other elements of my outfit competing for attention. I kept it simple but polished with open-toed booties from House of Harlow that gave me just enough lift to ensure that the super-comfy jumpsuit didn't wear too much like Pajamas. A sleek Louis Vuitton Epi Leather bag played nice, adding a timeless element that immediately balanced out the other, more on-trend and seasonal aspects.
One for All - Onepieces, Two WaysLiz rocked denim overalls from Mavi in the most perfect shade of indigo. A stylist herself, Liz knew exactly what to pair the overalls with - a slick leather coat from Zara, breezy cotton CC California tee, and a black and white Alexander Wang satchel.
Cheers,Renata
