My parents used to stay near Sarvi before shifting to Pune , so when we had gone to my sister's place in Kandivali in Mumbai suburb for a holiday some time back , she insisted we go to Sarvi for dinner so we were a big jing bang group who traveled from Kandivali to Sarvi in a way i can't describe since it was peak hours in Mumbai.
As people familiar with Mumbai traffic can vouch for it.
We reached there finally after the hustle and bustle and we were seated in the family room on the first floor , the place is just like it must be years ago and i was picturing in my head like a flash back which normally happens in movies that my parents are having a meal in their courtship days there .
Anyway we were too hungry and after an agonizing wait when the food came we gobbled up some of their famous Seekh Kebabs , slightly soft for my taste but good .As soon as it was kept on the table it was extinct , i think the waiter must be used to stuff like that and then after the meal the struggle to head back home so to beat some more time and avoid the traffic we headed to have the mouchad paan at Chowpatty and the Kulfi near the signal, somehow i don't find the kulfi too interesting and always wonder why there is so much crowd around it.
