On Community

Thoughts on our not-so-little blogging community. ... You thought this would be a) a jumbled assortment of my crazed thoughts about the blogging world again, or b) a review of the much-loved TV series, right? Think again.
Don't you think it's kinda incredible how a handful of Internet-loving, word-obsessed, topic passionate individuals have built our own community? And that we've worked hard to build not only independent websites of unique, personal, witty and engaging content, but a supportive community that is being noticed internationally?
For all the positivity and negativity that circulates about us, I find it truly humbling and still astounding that we and our blogs have transcended modern media and we're lucky enough to be invited to work with brands and companies who are inspiring in themselves. Sometimes I look back at some of the things I did, do and am planning to do and have to pinch myself. We built this community with the content we create and with all the nonsensical chatter we engage in every single night.
Yo bloggers, we're kinda doing it right still, give or take a few things.
