Ombre Accessories: A Little Trend Goes a Long Way

By Bridgetteraes @BridgetteRaes

Ombre Accessories Knowing that it’s all about ombre fashion these days I wanted to touch on this trend.  Besides, Ombre is such a fun word to say.  Ombre.  Try it.  Being an accessories freak, I decided to talk about ombre accessories instead of ombre clothes.  As I always like to say, accessorizing is a great way to incorporate a little bit of trend into your existing wardrobe.  Plus, accessories can easily go from work to weekend, guaranteeing you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck.

To show you how you can get a ton of use from one piece of ombre accessories, check out the five ways I styled this turquoise ombre bib necklace from T. Tahari and be sure to check out the other cool ombre accessories at the bottom of this post, as well.  Need tips on how to wear a bib necklace?  Click here.

In this first outfit I added this necklace to a zig zap printed top and used the turquoise to pick up one of the colors in the print.  For casual, I added a denim Boden skirt, a pair of orange sandals from Sam Edelman and white bag from Franco Sarto.

Not only does this necklace add some finish to this maxi dress from Modcloth, but if the color of the bodice of this dress isn ‘t a flattering it allows you to bring the turquoise found in the stripe up near your face.  The outfit is finished with a pair of blush wedges and a cobalt BCBG clutch.

You can easily add a little color near the face when wearing a white shirt with a necklace like this.  In this outfit, a punch is added to this J. Crew popover blouse and the look is styled easily for casual with a pair of boyfriend jeans, Anthropologie flats and a Fossil crossbody bag.

A blue necklace does not mean your outfit has to be blue.  I love this combination of this cranberry Reiss t-shirt, yellow Boden jacket and ombre necklace.  The look is styled with white Alice + Olivia crop pants, silver wedge sandals and handbag.

To finish off a basic dress, for work or fun, this ombre necklace bounces beautifully off this hot pink Ivanka Trump sheath dress.  The outfit is finished with a pair of blush Vince Camuto pumps and handabg.
