October Favourites

By Jollygoodstudio @JollyGoodStudio
I was a bit of a bad blogger during the month of October but I'm getting back on the band wagon now, and I've got some catching up to do. October was a busy one with a family wedding, a wigwam holiday and some fun Halloween festivities, so it all went by in a bit of a blur. I'm not enjoying the weather it has brought, or the lack of daylight, but her are some things I did love during the merry month of October...

Howkapow
I have been a fan of Howkapow for quite a while now. They have such a colourful mix of homewear and gifts from many of my favorite brands. I'm not usually one to get into Christmas before December but I have to admit I have been browsing their site for some gift ideas in the hope of being a bit more organised this year. Not sure it's working though, as I've mostly just been adding things to my own Xmas wish list. For example, all of the above!

Pill Popper Dress by Coco Fennell x Karen Mabon
If you've been following my blog for any length of time you will know I am a big fan of Karen Mabon (formally Red Brick). So when I heard that there was to be a collaboration with Coco Fennell, maker of beautiful dresses, I could not be more excited. The collection went online mid October and I spent the rest of the month waiting patiently for pay day to arrive so I could treat myself to this little number.

Miss West End Girl
I am always on the look out for wonderful blogs created by fellow Scots, so of course I love Miss West End Girl. I have been following Lynsay's blog for a while now but am drawn to it even more after she created a fabulous new layout. Her blog is filled with bold and colourful outfits and some brilliant insights into what Glasgow has to offer. My favorite posts from the month of October include her round up of some fun movie events and her tips for an awesome Halloween party.
