Oct. 17 – Deadline for Rosemead Public Art Ad Hoc Committee Applications

The City of Rosemead would like to announce a Notice of Vacancies for its Public Art Ad Hoc Committee.

The City’s Strategic Plan for 2012 and 2013 includes a strategy to: Assist in the Preservation and Improvement of Historical, Cultural, and Natural Resources. The City Council has established a five-member Public Art Ad Hoc Committee with the objective of creating a mural at the historic Savannah Pioneer Cemetery. The ad hoc committee will be comprised of a City Council Member, a City staff member, one representative each from the El Monte Cemetery Association and the Rosemead Moose Lodge, and a representative of the public at-large.

Community members interested in being considered for said appointment should complete and submit an application no later than 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 to: City Clerk’s Office, Rosemead City Hall, 8838 E Valley Blvd., Rosemead, CA 91770.
