NYC Sun 'n' Bronze Bronzing Powder 'Montauk Bronze'
The NYC Sun 'n' Bronze bronzer range consists of four shades, I own the darkest shade 'Montauk Bronze'.
All four of the powders have three rows of different bronze shades displayed across the pan. When swirled together they create a variety of bronze hues, from a light peachy tan to a deeper red based tan....the latter being Montauk Bronze.NYC Sun 'n' Bronze Bronzing Powder 'Montauk Bronze''Montauk Bronze' has the tiniest amount of shimmer in it, that can be seen in the pan & when swatched on the hand. So when I first tried this bronzer a couple of months ago I wasn't holding out much hope, as I always opt for a totally matte bronzer thinking that this will give me a more natural finish. Luckily enough I was  pleasantly surprised by the finish of the powder when applied to my face, no sparkling disco ball effect but a subtle natural glow.
This bronzer is definitely not the most pigmented, but (& I know this may sound odd) that is the reason I like it so much. When dusted over my face with a big fluffy brush It leaves me with a subtle luminous glow that my other more pigmented matte bronzers just can't do for me.
NYC Sun 'n' Bronze Bronzing Powder 'Montauk Bronze'The staying power isn't amazing, it will last me about three hours before I start to see the color fading. However I don't mind touching up since I like the color & the effect it gives to my skin.
The packaging is pretty basic & reminds me of my other favorite bargain powder Rimmel stay matte, with its black base & clear lift off lid.
Over all this is a great bargain bronzer for a natural bronzed glow costing just £2.99 & I will most definitely be repurchasing.
