I am preparing for my next portrait class and spend more time, recently, in studying human figure as well as practicing oil painting.
Two weeks ago, I was happy to find a new art shop in London. I bought a couple of canvas boards and decided to go with some quick oil painting studies. Rather than spend a long time on my work, I aimed to have a study done in one go : It helps me to be more spontaneous with the oil medium and as well to try colors I wouldn't use in a more realistic composition... (I was longing to try this turquoise for quite a long time...)
