NUDE NAILS: BARRY M GELLY REVIEW
I always love to have my nails painted, yet for work I don't like to wear bold or bright colours. On the hunt for a nice natural color I decided to give the Barry M Gelly polishes a try, these have been out for some time now but this is the first one that I have tried.
I decided to go for the shade 'Lychee'. It's a classic nude colour, but as boring as it seems I really like the color on. It has a high shine which looks nice and also lasts well, unlike other Gel formula polishes that I have tried.
The polish itself lasts about a maximum of 5 days for me. 5 days may seem like a very short time for some of you, but I have a very hands on job. I'm always in and out of different products, water and also constantly struggling to open new products. So for me, to get 5 days out of a polish without chipping is great! I also remove my polish after the first sign of a chip because I can't bear chipped nails, it's also not a very good look if I have a manicure in at work and my nails are horribly chipped!
The polish doesn't stain my nails at all and keeps them nice and healthy. It applies nicely and doesn't drag on the nail or go thin, after 2 coats it creates a nice solid color. It's a nice consistency and I've always managed to get the perfect amount on the brush. I'm definitely a huge fan of the Gelly polishes as I love the benefits of gel nails, but I like to change the color often so it's nice to be able to still have the benefits but also be able to change it whenever I like. I love this polish so much, I've already bought 3 more new colours for Autumn!
