Nubzen Claus - Swatches & Review

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi everybody!!
I have a few polishes to share with you from a new "to me" polish brand. I discovered Nubzen Claus on Instagram. Ty, the creator is a sweetheart and she has some awesome creations.
First up is Unicorn Drool.
Nubzen Claus - Swatches & Review
Unicorn Drool has a sheer white base full of holographic shimmer and contains purple hex glitter and yellow, red, green and blue glitter shards. The formula is great!! It applied evenly, not streaky at all. It is sheer though, so there was VNL even after three coats. The glitter is sparse, which I like because it gives it a nice soft look. Here I used four coats with no base or top coat.

Isn't it pretty?
I decided to layer two coats over Orly Au Champagne to show it without VNL.

I really like Unicorn Drool on its own, but I LOVE it over white. So beautiful!!
Next up is Echo's Breath, a top coat with a clear base and iridescent glitter.  I decided to layer it over black (Nicka K Noir) and OPI Russian Navy (on my ring finger).

Echo's Breath applies really well. There is good glitter coverage with just one coat, I decided to use two though.

Macro over Russian Navy

While I love them both over black and blue, I especially love it over Russian Navy because of the shimmer it has. Such a great combo!
The final polish I have to share is Poseidon's Storm. It's a navy blue jelly with small iridescent flakies. The first two coats were streaky when applied. I think I used coats that were too thin. For the third coat, I added a thick coat and it was way better.

I really like this polish. The combo of the blue jelly and the flakies are perfect together!!
I used no top coat for any of the swatches above, but Ty did send me a bottle of her Flash Dry Manicure Sealant. I added it to Poseidon's Storm here.

It applied easily, isn't thick and gave it a lovely shine. My nails were dry to the touch in less than two minutes. I'll be trying it on my manicures and share my thoughts regarding wear with you all.
What do you guys think of these polishes? Do you have a favorite? Have you tried any polishes from Nubzen Claus?
To check out Ty's etsy store, you can go here. Unicorn Drool is available now, but the others will be available next weekend.  Full size polishes are $8 and minis are $4.
