Today I wanted to show you this nail color Im totally loving, Whimsical by Revlon. I've seen this paticular nail polish around for a few months now, yet I couldn't find it anywhere. I was on a serious hunt for a few weeks then I started to give up and forget about it. I went to a different Rite Aid than the one I usually go to the other day and I was looking around the beauty aisles like always. I looked at the Revlon section and my eyes probably came out of my head when I saw Whimsical sitting right there. I was so excited that I finally found it. If you haven't seen this polish yet, here it is.
Whimsical is an extremely sheer polish, it has a translucent blue base that is filled with baby blue and baby pink hex glitter. If you look closely you can even see smaller pink and iridescent blue glitter. This color is definitely better used when you layer it over another polish. Im sure with 3 or 4 coats you can finally get an opaque finish but the glitter is a little tricky to spread it evenly.
I layered Whimsical with Blue Lagoon by Revlon that almost looks like the exact same baby blue base, except blue lagoon has fine shimmers in it. The two matched perfect together. Like I said before the glitter was a little difficult to spread evenly, but that usually goes for all polishes flex of glitter.
How could you not love this color, it reminds me of confetti cake except blue lol. Have you guys tried Whimsical? What did you layer it with or did you wear it alone?
