This may not really look like a Nordic tradition, but trust me, it is one! Every year on Christmas Eve (we celebrate on the 24th here in Europe...) in Sweden, at 3p.m. (nearly) everyone sits down in front of the TV and watches this show. Yes, they really do :)
I'm not sure if every of the following videos is available where you are, I can only watch a few. Also some are English and others are Swedish... But anyway, you will get an idea of the Swedish Christmas Eve!
Ja, das mag jetzt nicht nach einer nordischen Tradition klingen, aber glaubt mir, es ist eine! Jedes Jahr am Weihnachtsabend um 15 Uhr sitzt (fast) ganz Schweden vor dem Fernsehen und schaut diesen Disney-Klassiker :)
Leider sind einige davon in Deutschland "nicht verfügbar".... Aber ein paar kann man schauen! Einige sind auf englisch, andere auf schwedisch, auf jeden Fall bekommt man aber einen Eindruck in den schwedischen Heilgabend!
