Lipgloss is one of those things that has been a staple in our makeup bags for years. It's easy to pop on any time of the day for any situation, so I decided to go for the No 7 Nourishing Lip Shine as my next lip purchase.
The idea is that it works as a lip balm using Liquorice as the nourishing ingredient, whilst giving a shiny finish. It comes in two colours which are peach and pink (I went for the pink one) but the finish is very shear so it is more of a clear gloss with a tint.
I have found this lip shine to be very comfortable to wear, as it does not feel sticky or thick like a lip gloss, but more of a creamy texture. The applicator is very soft which feels very nice , but I have found that I have to squeeze the tube quite hard to get the product out, this is not a problem for me though because application time is very quick.
A few people have said that this product is a dupe for the Clarins Lip Perfector, plus with my trusty No7 Boots voucher the Lip Shine came to £5.50. Bargain!
Overall I think this is a great three in one product for summer, and it feels a lot more luxurious than using my old tin lip balm. It has helped my lips to feel nice and soft and I dont mind reapplying throughout the day to maintain the shine.
