No7 Colour Calming Primer

By Obviousleigh @Obviousleigh
I have never really cared too much for primers, nor did i see the point in using them when i apply moisturiser before my foundation anyways, but my mind has been changed for the better. I still had my £5 off No7 voucher too use in Boots so i decided to browse the No7 counter. (if your unfamiliar with No7 it is Boots own higher end brand). From having eczema on my face i still had red blotches from where it was inflamed, after speaking to the women about my skin problems and how unhappy i was with my appearance she showed me this color calming primer which correct red complexions and i no longer look back.

So this product was around £10-£12 which i believe is well worth the money. It says to apply and blend a small amount into my face after doing so you can really notice the difference. Although after applying the green pigmentation made me look a bit ill but apart from that all the redness had been neutralised. This product is hypo-allergenic which is also a plus because i have stupidly sensitive skin!! It also leaves you skin very soft which allows your foundation to glide on smoothly. Now down to the primer side of the product, i do feel that it makes my makeup last that little bit longer especially when i have a long day at university but not long enough to just buy this product for the primer purpose itself. I highly recommend using this for redness around spots and all your red complexions but i wouldn't  recommend if your just looking for a primer. I am pretty sure that No7 do a hell of a lot of different primers for all skin types so next time your in boots pop in and see one of there specialists. I rate this a 7/10 for the color calming side to the product.
