Night Out #beautiesonfire Link Up

Attention Beauty Lovers. Welcome to the next Beauties On Fire themed link-up. If you don’t know about Beauties on Fire, make sure to check out this post. Our next theme was decided via a Twitter poll. Anyone could vote and our winner was…”Night Out.” All the AMAZING #beautiesonfire members have written posts with their own spin on the Night Out theme. I created a Night Out Date Night Beauty look.

If you haven’t joined the Beauties on Fire Facebook Group yet, where have you been? Note: You DON’T need to take part in the collab to be a part of the group. We have become a total fashion and beauty blogger support group! We would totally love to have you! My boyfriend (Joseph) recently moved closer to me so we have been going on lots of dates. I love it so much.

For this theme, I decided to create a gorgeous night out beauty look, sure to impress. Although any great boyfriend will love you just the way you are, it is still nice to doll yourself up every once in awhile. If you feel confident, your man will notice too.

I also included a few date night ideas. It is always fun to come up with fun date nights. Date nights don’t have to be expensive. Some of the best dates I have ever been on were FREE (besides gas, of course).

For my look, I also tested some new products I recently received. I hope you enjoy the look. Let me know what you like to do for nights out. I would love some new ideas too!

My Thoughts:

I really loved these lashes so much! They were very easy to use and are great quality. The lash bands are relatively thick so I definitely recommend using black eyeliner before applying. I used the Alice lashes for my night out look and they lasted all night. They really finished off my look. My eyes looked so gorgeous and huge. Joseph loved them and gave me so many compliments. Overall, I am really impressed with these lashes and totally recommend them. They are stunning lashes and I will be able to get a few uses out of each pair. I can’t wait to wear them again!

My Thoughts:

I am so excited that this line launched at Ulta and I couldn’t wait to create a look with the products I received. The packaging is gorgeous and there are so many products in the line! I am definitely going to have to pick up more!

Mattifying Face Base Face Primer:

This primer is really nice and is such a large size. I will have this bottle for such a long time because a little goes a long way. I did a great job at mattifying my face and it is very similar to Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. It sinks into the skin quickly and I was impressed. I will continue to use this primer.

Colour Chrome Eyeshadow Palette:

I love the shades included in this eyeshadow palette. They are cream eyeshadows and are very easy to use. I love the extra touch they gave my smokey eye. The included brush is also very nice. I did find the cream shadows tend to crease throughout the day. However, my look lasted throughout my entire night out. They might work best as bases with shadow on top. Overall, I really enjoyed the palette and I can’t wait to create more looks using it.

This lipstick shade is stunning and added to my sexy look. It smells like mint which I really enjoyed. I was impressed that it lasted on my lips for my entire date. I didn’t have to touch up at all. It was very easy to apply and felt decently comfortable on the lips. I found that it wasn’t overly drying. Overall, I am impressed and will totally have to pick up more shades.

Date Night / Night Out Ideas:

1.) Take A Hike With An Included Picnic

I love hiking and it is a great time to bond. There is nothing like being in nature and seeing all its beauty. Your significant other can also totally hold your hand and help you up a huge hill or through a creek. I love when Joseph helps me. It is so darn cute. Make sure to pack a picnic too. After all that walking, you are bound to be hungry. Picnics are so romantic and so fun.

2.) Go To A Museum

Joseph and I love going to museums for dates. They are so fun and you totally learn a ton too. I always love learning new things. Museum dates are relatively inexpensive too. Be sure to check for deals online and on Groupon.

3.) Tour Huge Homes (And Dream, Of Course)

I am a total sucker for huge homes. They are also so fun to tour. Check to see if any homes in your area are available to tour. You can always dream about your future together and decide what you would like to have in your dream home.

4.) Go To A Flower Garden

Flowers are just so gorgeous and are fun to look at. Go to a flower garden and look around. Be sure to stop and smell the fragrant flowers and grab a few to take home (if you are allowed, of course).

5.) Have A Starry Night Date

I love star gazing. It is so romantic and makes for an amazing date night. There are even apps you can download to help you find different constellations. Grab a ton of pillows and blankets to create a huge comfy area for watching the stars. Let me know if you see a few shooting stars too. Don’t forget to make a wish!

6.) Go On A Progressive Dinner Date

A progressive dinner date is such a unique date. You eat different parts of your meal at different restaurants. It is a great way to try different foods from different places. Start by having an appetizer at one restaurant. Enjoy, pay, and move on to the main entree at the next restaurant. Finally, finish with dessert at the last restaurant.

7.) Drive-In Movie

I love drive-in movies so much. The atmosphere is more fun than traditional movies. Plus, you get to see two movies for less than the price of one. If you haven’t been to a drive-in movie, look up where the closest one is in your area and go. I just know you are going to love them!

8.) Go Fishing

Fishing just isn’t for guys. Girls can have a blast fishing too. It is very relaxing and soothing. Try it sometime and be sure to include your date! Let me know how many fish you catch!

We had a blast taking pictures before going out. He really loved my night out look and we enjoyed being our gooofy selves. What do you think of the pictures? Do you like taking funny pictures with your date?

The above pictures show all the fun we had at the Boonshoft Museum Of Discovery. This is such a fun place to go to and there is so much to see. I seriously love museum dates so much.
