The Scottish business, founded by 25-year-old lobster fisherman's son Douglas Stewart, also retails an extensive selection of Hebridean seafood, organic beef, organic lamb and wild red deer venison from their online shop.

Douglas commented: "As with all the products on offer, we strive for as little intervention as possible between land, sea and plate. We want our customer to enjoy our products in as fresh and as natural a state as possible."

Hailing from the Isle of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Douglas founded The Hebridean Food Company in 2014 and have engaged the services of Colin Bussey as development chef. Douglas and Colin are currently working on new soup recipes as well as developing a range of healthy fresh ready meals for launch next year.

The full range is available from the chiller cabinets at Whole Foods Market across the UK, as well as at selected retailers including Selfridges Food Hall in London to House of Bruar in Perthshire.
