New Year's Eve Outfit Inspiration

New Year's Eve Outfit InspirationHello, so New Year's Eve is tomorrow and that means celebrating the end of a year. 2014 hey? Feels like yesterday when we were in 2010. How time flies by!
I have put together 6 outfits which require no thought. So if you're not into all that glamour, glitter and sequins and then these outfits may suit your standard.
New Year's Eve Outfit Inspiration
1) This outfit is the most conservative and classy out of all the outfits. This is perfect is you are surrounded by older people like your grandparents as you are not showing too flesh off. Midi skirts are great for family gatherings as they are easily put together without being too short or too short. Practically really. I teamed the midi skirt with a collared heart printed shirt as the pattern is cute and looks good with the color off the skirt. I also wore my nude wedges which are one of my staples of the year.

2) Outfit 2 is kind of dressy. Yet, casual. This dress is one of my most recent additions to my wardrobe. I love that it has two textures. I am also wearing my blue bow flats as they are very practically especially if you're in a party environment where there is a lot of dancing. I also thought this outfit had to have a belt with to cinch in the waist because it was rather baggy and oversized.

3) This outfit is for the people who spend new year's eve with their family watching movies and waiting for the clock to hit 0:00am. It has a cross between dressy and casual. The jeans give a relaxed and casually look. So, to give a little bit more of a dressy vibe I wore a chiffon top. Chiffon always gives a dressy look. A cardigan to give warmth and some converse to follow the cliché jeans and trainers train. Well, at least they weren't Nike's.
Top - Matalan
Cardigan - H&M
Joni Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Converse High Tops

4) This and the first one is my favorite. The colours are light and airy. In a party atmosphere it can get really warm, really fast. I wore a black vest top to take the full on white effect away. It's not too dressy but, is put together. Plus, the horizontal stripes give a slimming effect.
Vest Top - Matalan
Skirt: H&M
Cardigan - MK One (How old do I sound, they shut down years ago).

5) This outfit is if you are comfortable with showing a little bit of flesh. I personally don't like showing skin off. But, if you do then something casually like this will be good for you. I think dressing casual-ish is the way too go. As, all that glam can be overwhelming and too "try hard". Though, I still class this as dressy. The black top has a velvet detail and clings around your curves and compliments your body. To add a pop of color I wore pink shorts because who doesn't like a little bit of pink?

6) This final outfit is very monochrome and a typical party look. A lot of black. I wore an oversized crop to and a high waisted a line skirt. As the crop top was oversized it gave a 'boxy' look. Which I thought looked nice on me as my waist looked smaller. To accessorise I wore a purple snood which is a statement to this outfit.
Crop Top - Topshop

Snood - Tesco
Shoes - Matalan
Please note it was 10pm when I took these photos. Hence why I look so bored. But, hey at least I smiled for the last picture. ☺
