At last weekend’s EGX show in Birmingham a new build of Terraria on 3DS was shown off. This offers enhanced visuals in some areas and certainly felt smoother to play.
Most noticeable was the way the map worked to navigate. You could zoom in and move around with just the stylus — making much better use of the 3DS hardware. The zoomed in build mode was also more responsive although it seemed the game was still on version 1.2.
The Wii U game was also on show on the Nintendo stand and offered both four player local co-op as well as an online multiplayer mode. The only down side is that if you want to play these at home you will have to wait until next year.
