New Surroundings

As you noticed from my last post, the man and I have recently moved. It feels so good to have all most of our boxes unpacked. I plan on doing my fair share of decorating today! Lately my life has been nothing more than 60-70 hr work weeks filled with freelance makeup slinging, makeup class instructing, and retail craziness. Its cause my blog posts to be a lot less frequent. I don't have the luxury of having a boyfriend or BFF to help me take photos for my blog which has definitely made it hard to showcase more fashion/makeup posts. Guess what? No excuses. I plan on getting back on the fast train to blog city. In my new city, I've found a few beautiful and inspiring places to grab a warm cup of coffee and a snack during those few hrs in between my busy schedule. These much needed stops help me reflect and unwind from my hectic lifestyle. Below is a photo of me sitting by the window at Song Bird Coffee and Tea House in PHX.
My makeup students just had their photo shoot on Saturday and from what I hear, the photos are turning out wonderfully! 
Buns, band t-shirts, green cords, black boots, black leather jacket, chunky jewelry. 
I had the amazing opportunity to do makeup for a video shoot on Friday. The shoot was filmed in a studio of a photographer I'm friends with for a new hair product coming out. I will have a few 'action shots' to share with you soon!
I made the big mistake of eating a dangerously delicious Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cupcake with too much frosting this week. My mouth was in heaven, my thighs are in pain. Its totally ok.
