Just this morning while going through old photos, I remembered something: Spring. Sure, it might be a little odd to forget an entire season, but I've been a little scattered lately. The weather here in Sonoma County has always been on it's own timetable. As someone who grew up in Hawai'i, believe me when I say that I cherish my seasons. Spring is something that Northern California does in spectacular fashion. The trees burst to life with pink and white flowers, with the breezes scattering the petals all over the roads. It's lovely. More than likely it was the reminder of spring that prompted the purchase of these boots. There was a time in college where my entire closet was nothing but pink. And...I didn't really do subtle in college. If you go through the history of this blog (like 2008-ish) I'm sure you can find what I mean. Things are a little more toned down these days. I cannot wait to pair my new boots with this denim jacket and my black high rise jeans, both from Big Star.
