Something new from West Coast lyricist Kendrick Lamar punctuates this evening with a laidback cut from Peter Rosenberg and Popchips What’s Poppin Vol. 1 mixtape. Titled “My Mind Drifts,” the brief [one minute thirty] song features a reflective verse from Lamar who flows effortlessly over the mellow backdrop crafted by producer The Quartermaine.
