Here at Marthafied we just received the brand new Monsoon Spring/Summer’14 Lookbook and leafing through it, it was almost impossible to choose my favorite looks for the summer. First of all, the Monsoon Lookbook has been photographed in exotic Sri Lanka amongst tropical palm trees and romantic train journeys which make me want to go on summer holiday right now. Second of all, it features the stunning Yasmine Le Bon, who at 49 looks divine and more gorgeous than she did at the beginning of her career. (I remember I was so jealous of her in the 80s. Not only was she one of the most famous supermodels of her time, she also married Duran Duran heartthrob Simon Le Bon!) The Monsoon SS’14 collection takes inspiration from ethnic florals and prints. There’s also glamour for the sultry summer evenings from shimmery embellishments. The whole Monsoon collection is such casual elegance, meant to be thrown into suitcases and worn on far-flung beaches or under alluring moon glow. Part of the collection is ready to shop on Monsoon.com, but the entire collection will be rolled out over this Spring.
This ultra slinky cocktail dress is super sexy and has pretty scalloped details.
Add some glamour to your days and nights with this San Jose Tribal Glass necklace for (only!!) £25.00.
Layla printed smock top (£45.00) looks so cute with jeans.
I love the selection of scarves. I buy a lot of scarves, they are fab accessories and such an easy and inexpensive way to update your wardrobe. These scarves cost from £25.00- £35.00.
The white embrodied Ardella duster coat is very sophisticated. I would wear it with a white T-Shirt and jeans. And I would add the San Jose Tribal necklace for some bling! The coat costs £119.00.
A summer classic for £89.00.
Love the statement necklace!! And the feminine Lily summer dress in 3/4 sleeves for £69.00.
Casual and ultra pretty with beautiful flowers and global prints.
