New gTLD’s Aftermarket: Sedo Is Ready & Has New gTLD’s For Sale; Afternic Does Not

Posted on the 08 February 2014 by Worldwide @thedomains

I did a check to see if the major aftermarket houses were ready and listing new gTLD’s for sale.

The short and simply answer:

Sedo.com is.

Afternic.com is not.

Sedo has a drop down search feautre to search for domains name by extension.

Sedo has the 7 new gTLD;s already included in their drop down menu and in fact there are already hundreds of new gTLD domain names for sale in the resale market with both fixed pricing and make offers/

Sedo actually has a few auctions going on new gTLD domain names.

Afternic.com also has a drop down menu feature to search for domain name for sale by extension.

However none of the new gTLD extensions are included in the drop down menu so there is no way of seeing for example the domains listed for sale on Afternic ending in .Guru.

Afternic.com which was acquired by Godaddy.com is selling the hell out of the new gTLD’s on the registrar side but doesn’t appear ready on the aftermarket side.

Godaddy.com auctions also does not have any of the new gTLD extensions in their drop down menu.

Namejet.com also does not have any new gTLD on its drop down menu but has already been auctioning off new gTLD domains on certain strings for a few months.

SnapNames.com does not have any of the new gTLD’s on its drop down menu in its marketplace.…
